7. Improve the calculation function of the test results, keep decimals, and round the results to make the calculation results more accurate.
8.Various parameter settings can be set arbitrarily, which is more convenient for the testers to operate flexibly and meet more test requirements
9. Any step in the test can be skipped manually, which is convenient for testing
B. Hardness test method:
The plastic ball indentation hardness test is to use a steel ball with a specified diameter to press vertically into the surface
of the sample under the action of the test load, and keep it for a certain period.
Then read the indentation depth value. Get its hardness value by calculation or look-up table.
1. The thickness of the sample is not less than 4mm, the adjustable range of loading speed is within 2-7 seconds, usually 4-6 seconds, and the loading time is 30 seconds or 60 seconds; We should select the load size according to the expected hardness of the sample. If the hardness is higher, a larger load can be selected; otherwise, a smaller load should be selected. If unpredictable it must gradually upgrade The hardness of the sample from a small load, so as not to damage the steel ball indenter and the sample; They can carry the test out by selecting the load.
2. Ball indentation hardness means that a steel ball with a specified diameter is vertically pressed into the surface of the sample under the action of the test load and kept for a certain period. Finally, the average pressure per unit area is expressed in Kgf/mm2 or N/mm2.
Its expression is: H=0.21p/0.25πD (h-0.04) (kg/mm2)
P-load (kg)
h-indentation depth (mm)
D-Steel ball diameter (mm)
π - pi
Note: h=h1-h2
h1: Indentation depth of sample load (mm);
h2: The frame deformation of the instrument under the test load (mm)
3. The distance between the center of the measurement point and the edge of the sample is not less than 10mm, and the distance between the centers of two adjacent measurement points is not less than 10mm
C. Main purpose and function:
Plastic hardness refers to the ability of a plastic material to resist being pressed into it by another rigid object that is regarded as not elastically and plastically deformed. The plastic ball indentation hardness test is to use a steel ball with a specified diameter to press vertically into the surface of the sample under the action of the test load, and read the indentation depth after a certain period. Get its hardness value by calculation or look-up table.
